Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins (Game Boy) - Secrets and Tips
• This game has no known cheat codes, but it does have several well-documented secrets.
• Carrot (Bunny Mario): found in ? blocks in several levels; lets you flap through the air by holding the jump button. Very useful for crossing gaps and dodging enemies.
• Secret exits: some levels have hidden alternate exits that unlock new areas and shortcuts on the map, including extra access points in the Macro Zone.
• In the Turtle Zone's underwater level, there are hidden coin and extra life areas behind structures; carefully explore along the walls.
• If you lose the Carrot when hit, break the ? blocks again: it often reappears in the same spot.
• In the Space Zone, watch out for the low gravity: long jumps let you clear almost every enemy without the Fire Flower.
• Against Wario in the final castle: his tactics change after you hit him. Having the Carrot makes it much easier to dodge his attacks and counterattack.
• General tip: farm coins in the first Tree Zone level by repeatedly hitting blocks; it's a safe spot to build up coins and extra lives before the bosses.
