Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition - Secrets, Unlockables and Tips
• Lock boxes: 100 are hidden across Hong Kong (many out at sea, easier to spot via the map). Every 5 boxes increases your reward tier, granting cash, outfits and exclusive vehicles.
• Jade statues: collecting them unlocks combat upgrades at Master Kwok's kung fu school. There are 50 total, some in areas that only open as the story progresses.
• CCTV cameras: hacking security cameras reveals drug busts and collectibles on the map; essential for 100% completion.
• Combat tip: use environmental objects (shelves, lockers, signs) for finishers and save your Face meter for large enemy groups.
• Drive well and chain stunts: jumps, drifts and traffic near-misses raise your Face/XP faster.
• Outfits matter: wear formal clothes for Triad and police missions and casual wear at night; some NPCs react differently to your attire.
• The Definitive Edition includes DLCs like Nightmare in North Point and Zodiac Tournament, adding their own unlockables (Halloween weapons, new martial arts moves).
