Overview
In September 2006, Square Enix announced Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix, featuring new scenes and gameplay elements. Like the first re-release, this version would combine English audio with Japanese text and also use the "Sanctuary" theme song instead of "Passion". New cutscenes, however, used Japanese voice acting, as they mostly featured Organization XIII members from Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories who did not yet have English voice actors; these scenes were later re-dubbed into English for the HD 2.5 Remix release.

Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix (PS2) - Cheats and Tips
• Critical Mode: Complete the game on any difficulty to unlock Critical Mode, featuring tougher enemies but player bonuses.
• Stats at the start: Your dream rod / dream sword / dream shield choices at the beginning affect Sora's level-up pace and starting abilities.
• Synthesis Keyblades: Collect all synthesis recipe materials from the Moogle shops to unlock unique synthesized Keyblades.
• Extra Keyblades: Win the Olympus Coliseum tournaments at various ranks to unlock additional Keyblades.
• Gummi rewards: Complete Gummi missions (destroying enemies, meeting objectives) to earn rare building blocks.
• Pro tip: Use Reaction Commands whenever they appear; many of them prevent lethal damage in boss fights and speed up combat greatly.
• Pro tip: Save your MP and use Reflect magic against aggressive bosses - it's the most efficient defense in the game.
