Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward - Tips and Tricks
This MMO has no cheat codes, but these well-documented tips will help:
• Use the Aether Current system in Coerthas Western Highlands and the Dravanian zones to unlock flying: attune to all aetherites and complete each zone's main story currents.
• Unlock the Dark Knight job in Ishgard (level 50 and having reached Ishgard in the story), plus Astrologian and Machinist in the Pillars (level 50).
• The Warsteed (griffin-style mount) is awarded for finishing the Heavensward main scenario with a level 60 job.
• Complete Vanu Vanu beast tribe quests ('Tale of the Mountain') to unlock the Sanuwa mount.
• Treasure maps (Timeworn maps from gathering) lead to hidden coffers in zones like Azys Lla.
• Use /regiontext and map markers to coordinate A and S rank hunts in the new zones.
• In the Crystal Tower raids, dodging telegraphed area-of-effect markers in time avoids most lethal attacks.
• Check the official Lodestone site for Square Enix's published guides and current event schedules.
