Doodle Jump (2009) - Cheats and Tips
• Title trick: type 'hop' on the game's main menu to change the Doodler's name and unlock an alternate look in some versions.
• Change themes: in the theme selection screen (graph paper, jungle, space, ocean) new scenarios can be unlocked by playing longer runs.
• Score streak: keep climbing without hesitation to build momentum; chaining jumps quickly helps maximize your score.
• Use power-ups wisely: the rocket carries you safely upward but cannot be steered, so avoid grabbing it right before sparse platform sections.
• Beware of enemies: you can defeat them by jumping on their heads or shooting them by tapping the screen; never approach them sideways.
• If you're falling near a screen edge, remember you can pass through the sides and reappear on the other side to save yourself.
• The shield (bubble) protects you from a single hit; grab it whenever many monsters appear on screen.
• Calibrate your tilt controls: in Settings you can recalibrate the accelerometer for more precise movement.
